Shai Yammanee

Since graduating from WAAPA (the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) with a B.A. in Musical Theatre, Shai has had the pleasure of working consistently in the entertainment industry, which has taken him all around the world. These performances include T.V. Commercials, Musical Theatre, Opera, Dance, Plays, Pantomimes and aboard international luxury Cruise Ships.

 While in Australia, Shai performed in THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO as The Count, Tom Collins in the production of RENT, The Wolf and Prince Charming in INTO THE WOODS, IRENE the musical (with Debbie Reynolds), The Character of Collin in a new Australian musical THREEWAY, Character of Canno in a new Australian musical THE TRAVELLING, the operas THE MAGIC FLUTE, AIDA, ELIXIR OF LOVE and THE PEARL FISHERS. When Shai was part of the West Australian Opera Company, he also performed in cabarets, acting and dance performances, then he moved to Macau (China) where he performed at the Venetian Hotel and Casino.

On moving to Las Vegas (USA), Shai had the pleasure of headlining with THE LAS VEGAS TENORS at the LVH (now the Westgate Hotel & Casino), as well as being lead vocalist in the show JUBILEE! at Bally’s Casino & Resort. He was also part of  COCKTAIL CABARET that resided in Caesar’s Palace.

Recently, Shai also played the role of Sam Carmichael in the Farewell National Tour of MAMMA MIA! (USA & Canada).

 When not performing, Shai is a freelance photographer, retoucher, and editor.
